The Integrated Zone Comparison Technique (IZCT) was utilized with computerized polygraph instrumentation as part of a blind study in the detection of deception. Three scoring algorithms: ASIT Poly Suite (Academy for Scientific Investigative Training's Horizontal Scoring and Algorithm for Chart Interpretation), PolyScore® 5.5, and the Objective Scoring System (OSS) were assessed in the interpretation of the charts generated. Where “Inconclusives” were excluded, accuracy for the IZCT with all three algorithms was 100%. When “Inconclusives” were counted as errors, overall accuracy for the IZCT with ASIT Poly Suite was 90% and accuracy with PolyScore and the Objective Scoring System was 72%.

La Técnica Integrada de Zona de Comparación (IZCT) fue utilizada con instrumentación poligráfica computarizada como parte de un estudio ciego en la detección del engaño. Tres algoritmos de calificación: ASIT Poly Suite (Academia  para el Entrenamiento Científico Investigativo de la Calificación Horizontal y Algoritmo para la Interpretación de Gráficas), PolyScore® 5.5, y el Sistema Objetivo de Calificación (OSS) fueron evaluados en la interpretación de las gráficas generadas. Cuando  los  “Inconclusos” fueron excluidos, la exactitud para el IZCT con los tres algoritmos fue 100%Cuando los “Inconclusos” fueron contabilizados como errores, la exactitud total para el IZCT con el  ASIT Poly Suite fue  del 90% y la exactitud con PolyScore y el OSS 72%.
